I have, for the past two nights, been trying to load a driver/passenger into my rented vehicle, but it never loads them. I get a blank screen and when I select the vehicle again it says I still have no driver.

Other people can load drivers, but no passengers.

I am not a subscriber yet, I might, but I want to play for a bit first. Any help?

I'm guessing it's a browser-related issue.

Which browser and o/s are you using?
Do you have a pop-up blocker or something similar preventing a new window from opening?
Have you turned off any of the scripting elements within the browser (for security) ?

If you have an alternative browser, maybe try that and see if it sorts the problem.

I am using IE 9 with windows 7 professional. I have a popup blocker, but turned it off and allow popups from this site.

Scripting? I don't know anything about.

Are you trying to use Firefox and IE at the same time? I'm fairly sure if you try that, it will auto logout the first session, which would then prevent you from posting to the forum (unless you logged back in again).

As for the driver issue, my thoughts regarding scripting relate to the security options within the browser (which could possibly also be being affected by Anti-Virus software). Within the IE address bar, do you have a symbol of a circle with a line through it? As this would imply that you've adjusted some scripting/filtering settings.

If that's not it, how far do you get with adding a driver? I'm presuming you can see a dropdown list showing your available gangers, and the problem occurs once you select one, and the website tried to re-display the car with crewman. Is this the case?

Had another thought... are you able to change the name of the hire car?

Oh, and Vroomhoff, I wouldn't suggest Chrome to anyone! :)

Sorry - I have just fixed this bug, which was affecting only non-subscribers. It was caused by a code change I made a few weeks ago to close an exploitable loophole.
