Hi folks.

Since the wiki isn't working for me I thought I would ask you, the community to share some info on Special Training.

I just completed the Baby Steps special mission and had 2 "randomly picked ?" gangers receive Special Training.

I had a 105 Drv advance to 108 and a 60 Sct advance to 70.

Is there any more to Special Training or is it all random like that?

Any input is appreciated.

Training from special missions isn't random. Who is trained is set by the author. Often it's the ganger with the most skill in a particular area in a particular town.

Special Training from SCL is assigned by you.

Now there is also another "Special Training" that can be gained.

This paticular boon is granted by SCL League end wins.

This training is actually chosen by the awarded player, on whatever character he or she chooses and whatever skill can be selectable.

The wording on this last part is very selective. For instance, you cannot choose your character "Anonymous" John Doe to get specially trained in Psionics unless, he or she already has a point in psionics and is shown in the standard training drop down menu.

In other words, all skills that appear in the drop down list can be chosen to get the extra benefit.

This training also increases the cap of that paticular skill you have selected.

These points when gained are also usable in 3 point increments, per week, per character.
