How about a slider that allows us to change the opacity of ghosts? I think they're too dark and it's too difficult to see what my car is doing when the ghosts are all over the area of the screen that I'm trying to focus in.

lol, it does get kinda busy at times, still after the change. Ive crashed quite a bit following the wrong car.

I notice when my car touches the wall, it turns automatically TOWARDS the wall. I would expect walls and cars to be designed to deflect or repel eachother (safety measure) in a track/car intended for racing. As it stands now, the physics applied to minor impacts compound themselves to cause a 15 degree bump to become a 90 degree nose-in and reset the lap.

Maybe if this were the apacalypse...

I think its good having a penalty like this. I tried beating some of the faster cars yesterday in stock cars, and tried for near 200 laps (across classes). I had to run real tight lines, enter neat, run as close to every wall (at the apex) as possible and exit as fast as I could to get maximum speed down the straights to try keep up with vehicles with +11% power. To beat the faster cars in the stock cars I really had to nail a lap (which I never did) and this should be a bloody hard task as you would think. To run a fast time you can't hit the wall, period. Spin or no spin. And thats good. Really forces the skill level.

oh man yeah, now that I got a sunny and 57. Hard to drive.  B) I need me about 1000 coin and I'll be set.

That said, rewards might need to be lower or cars more costly (the special wunz) so that people have something to keep playing for(?)

With the current player base its possible to get in some good laps and still get some coin with cheap cars, with a big player base, it might be real hard to earn cash to get some of the starter vehicles, or to get some nice addons (tyres etc)

ahh, I not try bying second car yet, do I get to keep my tyres from my old car, aw du eye need em bye nu wunz? Never mind  ;)

Higher camera is arguably easier. Could this be a difficulty level?


Division unclassified - ? - Has this got anything to do with the quality of car (within a car type) or setup or something?

You can also scroll list by dragging them.
I could add scrollbars, but the user lists would be awkward due to a hack I had to put in to handle the little 'chat' button that pops up when you select a user

No, it means you're racing against random opponent ghosts. After 40 different players have recorded times for a car type, it switches to Division racing: A thru F. You start at F, running against poor opponents, and work you way up to A which is the elite.

At speeds beyond the speedometer your car exits the screen and you can no longer see it.

Example: try a hotrod on a long straightaway (side to side, not sure if it does it for top to bottom). While this simulates the inability to judge a corner at high speeds, it makes it easy to plow a wall if you were not perfectly straight already and is also disorienting.

@StCrispin: the latest revision (0.6) has a specific check to make sure the car never leaves the screen. (Although to be honest you can still only half see it at times: I'll fix it so you're always fully visible)
