nope and despite Sam's agreement to tweak a couple tiny items... which then didn't happen... Scav gets zero attention.

So we wont get camps.

Unless something give Sam the urge. But so far, no urge. We even offered to all buy 2 year subscriptions. or 3 or 4 of us did... not even the thought of $500 got any response.

Sadly we get what we have.

A camp or two would be nice... Food, water, ammo. Medicines manufacture in small quantities.

I was just thinking in Scav, camps would make more sense. You make stuff and barter. You have to acquire raw goods and process them and feed the people taking the time to make stuff while fighting of raiders and merchants unhappy with the competition.

And you do scouting missions looking for ruins with raw goods, "blueprints" on how to make stuff, and left over gear that has not been looted yet. Mixed ped and car fights in tight quarters between the husks of buildings (with zombies and mutants and aliens) :cyclops:

But that might be overkill.

I for one think town is no place for scavs and they should base from a camp only venturing into town to compete as wildcard in town events with there own cars.

In a perfect world, scav would be on a separate system from normal with only a shared portal for racing. Or better yet, no normal, but you can barter for training and stuff. I mean seriously, who thinks paper money will be worth anything after the apocalypse. And who want to carry gold, it is heavy.

I think most scav gangs should be in camps though, because who wants to live under the totalitarian rule that would obviously be in place in such a future.
