A battered hotrod pulls through the gates of Morgan and slides sideways up to the tavern.
The engine shuts down, and the doors open.
The crunch of boots on icy snow and the ticking of the cooling engine are deafening in the silence.

Tasha "Taint" Tingle and Cherry "First Time Love" Popa have arrived in Morgan.

Wendy "O" Williams saunters down the steps of the taver and greets them by the vehicle.

After passionate greetings are exchanged, Tasha nods towards the Cestus Dei gargage and asks "Did it get here?"
"Sure did....but damn, this is a pretty big crap shoot, considering how much stuff we've had ripped off here by the local heathens."

Well, yeah.." says Tasha, "But the boss wanted us to be a bit more useful down here...not that you gals haven't been pulling your weight, especially considering what you've been driving down here....but she wanted someone with a bit better aim down here. And a better vehicle too... I've about outlived my usefulness up in SS, so she sent me down here to polish my skills up."

"Yep, it's been kinda hairy" says Wendy, "We ran a Pho with a HGG last week and we had an ape have a SERIOUS hard-on for us....ignored the other chaser we were working with and just laid into us like mad....we were SOOOOO close to a breach on a couple of sides...damned lucky we didn't get ourselves perished!"

"Is it set up the way I asked?"

"Moray, with a 3.2LV8, OR tires, GG and CR....and we asked the Hellraisers for some suggestions setting up the suspension and stuff for use in the snow...it's in the shop now getting repainted."

"Good to hear. Ok then, let's DO this people....."


OOC- Sent down a gal that capped at 195, 5 points from Sniper 4 spec...we'll see what happens with her on a CR and in a moray with a V8. Looking forward to muscle sniping this week....

News travels quickly in a small town such as Morgan. Catalina "Curvy" Cruz and her sister, Kathryn "Old School" Cruz, get wind of this and hustle over to the Mayor's office.

Catalina opens the door and spills out, " The Nuns are back"!!!. Savannah turns and looks up with a slight smile, "Nice... I am glad they made their return... oh... did Tasha make the trip as well??" Catalina turn towards her sister and sees Kathryn nod. "Yes Mayor... she did".

The Mayor looks at the many photos over the fireplace and then points to one in particular. "See that one on the end?", the sisters look and giggle. "That was the last time I saw her... at the tavern after a hard fought battle, putting down shots. Those were good times"!

Catalina asks, "so whats up with the habit??" Savannah looks down and blushes, "I almost joined them, they made so hard not to say yes, but... I just couldn't handle all the time that had to be spent on your knees!"

The sisters burst out laughing... then the Mayor says, "But be careful... they would love to try and recruit girls like you.... and all that cleavage!" The girls both respond, "No worries Mayor, we are here to support you and Morgan!". "Thanks!" replies Savannah.

"Now go give the Nuns a proper greeting for me... tell them we have a defense tonight at 530. And I will will buy the drinks this time... after another victory over these dreaded pirates". Then Savannah looks at the garage inventory log. "Also, let them know we do have a spare Moray "With Reloads" if for some reason they "Forget" theirs again". :rolleyes:

Yessssssss...."Taint" hasn't even seen combat down there yet and her gunnery went from 195 to 196 last night....once she hits Sniper 4 I'm going to seriously consider shipping in a HCR for her.

The first cap bump happens within the first two updates that the ganger is training in. After that, it could take a month or more before you see the next one.

That comment is based from my double digit capped ganger that got a 3 point cap bump on second training week, then got an additional point 4 weeks later. That particular ganger has been relocated out of Morgan to allow some new guys to train because another month went by and saw no additional bumps.

I am sure that your 195 capped guy will get better bumps than my guy did. Just keep track of it so it can be compared to other gangers training bump patterns.

Ah, I'm not really complaining, at least she HAS a chance to hit 200 now.
That wasn't going to happen otherwise, so it's all good!

If all goes as planned, the nuns will be there for at least 2 defenses this week.
Man, I used to HATE doing these, now I REALLY look forward to playing these events. :D

We will help get you there! The defenses will be the biggest chance at getting skill bumps, but doing some scouting out there can help too.

My town capped ganger hasn't set foot out of the tavern and will still get 1 point every 2 weeks. Got one this week but not last week so I shouldn't get another for another week or 2.

Tasha walks into the Morgan inn, melting snow dripping down into her more thqan ample cleavage....
The bartender throws her an envelope with a gruf "This just arrived for you"...
She snatches it out of the air, lays some money on the bar, grabs her drink and heads over to a quiet table.
She slides a fingernail under the flap of the envelope and pulls out the paper inside.

Hey, since you guys seem to be holding your own in the defences down there, I'm sending down a new toy for you gals to play with.
Unless they get jumped and it all goes bad, you'll soon be rolling around in an Osprey.
Should be there in a day or so.
It's just been sitting in the garage anyway, so we figured you guys could put it to better use than we have up here.
It's got a 3.2LV8 in it, see if you can work out a deal with someone down there for a 5LV8.
We pulled a HCR off of one of the SS buzzers and threw that in it for ya too, so have fun with that.

OOC- Travels done. For some reason, while it SAID I would be there at 5:00 server (giving me an hour and a half to repair, etc. before tonights defense) once the encounters were done, it tells me 10:00 server....
Bah.
I even had my pathfinder scout doing the max of 45.....
So, Moray suicide run tonight, Osprey suicide run tomorrow night.
