Darkwind - Viewing Topic: Restoring Default Options

Ok so I am not exactly a noob but...

In a moment of madness I decided to change the screen resolution in the game client as the text on the buttons looked a bit fuzzy.

Unfortunately like a fool I accepted the change and then noticed that the lower half the screen had fallen off the bottom of my display. To make matters worse I had put it into full-screen mode.

Now I can't access the option button to change it back.

I have tried everything I and one of the marshalls could think of, but fundamentally the client doesn't have the normal Windows functionality (so I can't zoom out, or pan around).

I think my only option is to find the settings file and amend it outside the client.

I really don't want to have to reinstall the client and endure 360 plus patches.

Any ideas?

edit the file darkwind/client/prefs.cs

change this line to something like this:

$pref::Video::resolution = "1024 768 32";

restart client

Would suggest in new interface that the options button be placed somewhere that fools can't hide it
