What's up, all?

Wanted to let you know my wife and I will be riding in our first El Tour de Tucson this year. Sadly, it'll be bicycles, not motorbikes with rocket launchers. More effort, less boom, but gonna be a good time nonetheless.

This is a charity thing, and we're riding for Twilight Wish Foundation. They do cool stuff for old people, and right now they're helping send WWII veterans on "Honor Flights" to the memorial in DC. Three-day trip, all expenses paid, for guys who definitely earned the ticket.

If anyone thinks this sounds like something they support and wants to throw a few bucks at our fundraising page, that'd be supercool. Every little bit helps. More info about Twilight Wish and Honor Flights is there as well.

If you wanna get something for your trouble, I'll mix in a custom skin for any contribution over $20, your choice of chassis. Because charity!

A great bike, but ugly as sin when I bought it. Whoever let 'em ship with that scheme shoulda been fired on the spot.

Race day tomorrow! We upped our distance from 40 miles to 55. Was a matter of convenience, really; the 55-mile start is about a mile from our front door, so we figured hell, looks like it was meant to be.

Thanks again to the Merry Men for their contribution -- we smashed the hell outta our fundraising goal.

Now we just gotta get on the bikes and keep an eye out for any cheapshot bastards that look like they're targeting our tires. The secret to retaliation is to retaliate *before* they do anything, after all.

Anyway, that's my update. I'm sure I'll be back in the world of Evan real soon.
