No-one had seen Joey for a few weeks, not since that return went bad. It was mayhem. Some good men died that day, whilst lesser gangers turned tail and ran.

Joey had stayed behind, until his car caught fire, then bailed out and fought on foot. Got one good hit with an RPG before his leg was shredded, and thats the last they'd seen of him... until now.

"Nice leg," said Pam 'Ice Cold' Corbett, glancing at Joey over her beer. She never was one for too many words.

"Aint it, tho?" replied Joey with a grin, tapping the metal claw where his leg used to be.

Denny couldn't control himself any more. "So where the hell have you been, Joey?" he said, holding his palms up. "We've been worried sick."

"That'd be telling," said Joey, relishing the attention.

Pam shrugged. "Good to have you back. Well... most of you. We're gonna have to call you Stumpy now, yknow?"

If he lives long enough to get a nickname, she thought...
