I accidentally shot a resigned NPC car in a Deathrace; now they all want to WTFPWN me every race and they say at the beginning 'NPC's all hate your traitorous guts so if your car stops, they are going to ram you to death'. Will my being hated by everyone reset over time or should I be resigned to it being this way forever?

It will naturally get better over time - each week, at reset, they should like you a little more.

You may even be able to help things along by doing missions/running courier runs/etc, depending which factions hate you - go to your gang page and check the reputation tab for details.

This seems to happen a lot in your case, with players as well. Remember to use the ''Stop shooting'' command on your guys when an enemy vehicle resigns.
