After being open a week I've had one Marshal and zero new players take advantage of the rental facilities available to you for a very very low fee. Let me dispel a couple myths.

You don't need mechs.
You don't even need to travel to the camp. (talk to Brunwulf)
It's accessible from GW if you do go to the camp.
It's 40,000 a week, no matter if you're making BPU's or Napalm Guns, though a BPU will take 2-3 weeks.

Join the camp, fill out a build request, have your materials delivered (Brunwulf is offering to do this free for newer players) and pay your rental fee.

If you'd have done that last week you could have had three 3.2Lv8's by now. For 40K plus materials. And resell them for $125K each.

Q: But I need EP's and don't have any!?!
A: Save up those broken GG's, MML's, CGL's, RPG's and RL's you loot, have Brunwulf ship them to camp and break them down for the parts you need. You only need enough for the first item to start, and the rest when your run is complete. A 3.2Lv8 would be about 9 gatling guns, rocket launchers or mml's(they each yield 2 EP's when broken down).

Right now we have just enough MR (93) to make Buzzers. I wouldn't recommend it until we break 100 MR (if the MR dips below the minimum there won't be any progress that day on your item).

If you do have 500 points in mechs it will cut your weekly fee to 30K AND up our MR a bit.

This is by far the best deal going for getting gear. It requires little to no risk on your part and a very very low expense.

How do you get started? Join TUBI. Here's how:

Click on my name in this post. Click on my gang name (2ManyRads). Click on the Camps tab. Click on Tangos U-Build-IT. Click Apply for membership.

or to join any camp:

From the website go to the Towns/Camps dropdown menu and select All Camps (Map). Use the blue map controls in the upper left to scroll to Badlands Truckstop and zoom in. Mouse over the little building icon closest to Badlands Truckstop that says Tangos U-Build-It. Click the icon, it will turn gold and there's now a button in the upper right to Open Camp Page. There you can apply for membership. If I'm on and you let me know you applied I can approve you right then, otherwise I'll do it the next time I check the camp.
