For those of you who don't remember JD, or missed out on playing with him, you missed out on gaming with one hell of a good guy.

I was new to DW when I met JD. He was well-established and experienced. He had all the gangers and skills and gear and cars and stuff that one looks at when one is new, and says to oneself, "Whoa, I sure would like a few of those!"

He was also unremittingly generous with his time, knowledge, and DW wisdom. It didn't matter if it was a scout, race, or combat, he would cheerfully join in and do everything he could to help keep the rookies alive. He was like some sort of death-dealing salty mother hen who loved muscle cars.

His enthusiasm and love for the DW community made my early days in the game even more enjoyable and rewarding than they would have been already. Every community needs more like him.

I move to rename a bar or mechanic's shop "JD's."
