another loading hang

If it does, is there some sort of packet inspection filter in it? Can you try disabling all firewalls? This same problem was happening to Black Mamba some months ago and it seemed to be some sort of packet sniffer on his firewall which seemed to be thinking that a particular sequence of data somewhere in the loading sequence was suspicious, and was blocking it. At least, that's my guess as to why disabling his firewall fixed it. What other applications are you running Hula? I think this has to be some interaction with other software on your system, since it's happening to you and not other people even when the precise same data is sent from the server.
