Through the din of celebration in the bar, only a few words could be clearly heard at the Prong fan club table that a few midgets were "huddling" under.

Cecelia, fur cleanly licked, purred a little as she held two seats for Stout and Danny, the men who just took first in the Gateway Winter Meltdown against capable members of the Kingdom.

Her hearing, very keen due to her adaptations, wasn't keen enough to pick up the whole conversation. But she could clearly hear one the Kingdom boys claim that the married men would be around to collect a tithe.

How sweet, they must be collecting a gift for the poor future widows of the rapidly aging Kingdom gangs. Good on them. They aren't so evil after all. With some proper Purr-swazion, Cecelia was certain she could get Stout and Danny to donate some of the winnings to the widows.

Cecelia was still adjusting to the harsh reality that Stout and Danny were killed the very next day in 4 v 1 gank. Those XXXXX will do anything to win, even digging up near dead gangs to field an extra truck. Stout and Danny couldn't stop talking about what they were going to do with that new laser they were hoping to win.

Cecelia mourned for a day or two, and then got back to work. It's a harsh world and there is little time to be wasted thinking of the dead. But if only her mates could be here now to the see the headline in today's Gazette.
