cant play with new pc

i got a new PC and now when i try and play there are purple lines diaganaly across the screen and it crashes. its so bad i cant play a single event. ive checked my drivers and played with settings? anyone have an idea what it could be? its a wide screen monitor

i lost all my best gangers to a gladiator event due to this :(

make sure you have java and MS visual C+ with all updates (I think there is 7). if that doesn't work, try installing the game from the download game link to the left of this message instead of using steam

As for your characters, I told you that you have to message  The X-man and ask him to return them. You have limited time to do this

also, try running the game in openGL mode instead of directX

OpenGL seems to be where the flashing garbage and friends come out to play. Looks like this time around Disable Compiled VAs + Less Shadows fixed it on my side, but haven't tried just VAs. Less Shadows did nothing when I tried it by itself.

Rotary your awesome. I thought i had messed with all the options. i must have missed the VA setting. it fixed everything
