*Brian lights a cigar and sips his whiskey*
"Oh and word for the wise, if you put something fancy like a V8 in there to help you get through the hills, don't fergit to remove it before you turn it in. We compensate your provisions if they're turned in on the car, but only mechanic value, not market value. All that matters is you turned the chassis in, we don't care ifs shes on bricks with no motor n' blasted to hell"

*Smiles as he recalls a recent memory*

"Hell quite a few of the cars came back pretty dented, one even had a good frame knock, just nature of the beast out here"

Sliding out of the driving seat of his McFly. Alfonso 'Great' Scott calls to his techs, "I want her ready to go first thing tomorrow" as he heads off to the bar.

Scanning the notice board, his eyes catch a notice. "Who the heck are HPDF or HDPF or whatever the frack they're called??" he mutters to himself, "damn fools!", before finding a comfortable seat in the corner.

"Barman, bring me a whisky... bottle!"

*Brian pops down on the seat across from him and smiles while sliding him some gentleman's jack*
"How about something a lil more refined stranger? Reckon itl help with the introduction." Brian said with a chuckle as he slaps his badge down on the table and slides it to the towards Alfonso.

"We're the Heretics Division Police Department. Doing what we can in an effort to make the wastes a better place, charity work, new wastelander assistance, curbing bandit attacks, there's a lot." *Picks up his badge and lights a cigar*

"This here runs a simple one, take your newer scout with two specs or less in scouting and a car of mine I'll post for you and run it from here to Gateway, you're going to make the runs like my gang made it when we were a brand new gang. Modify the car as you see fit and rip it down the wastes. I'll tell the market teller to post one for ya now."

Alfonso accepts the drink, and smiles at the badge and it's owner.

"Sorry, pal, I'm already on a run... to Firelight." Knocking back the fine liquor, adding, "it's nice to see someone's looking out for the little guys. I'll get a message to our boss lady, to let her know you're OK, and to keep an eye out for any of your 'taxi drivers'."

"Just one thing, friend...." Alfonso lowers his voice a little, "Why does the poster say 'HPDF' if it's Heretic Division Police Force? Wouldn't that be Heretic Police Division Force?"

Myron being in his mid 20's had held off joining a gang, had been helping a local doctor down at the tracks. His skill showed promise as a doctor, so his mentor had suggested he train way north in Elmsfield.

"HOW will I get to Elmsfield?"

"I hear gangs travel that all the time, check down at the Mechanic's shop" Myron had picked up a flyer saying the 'El Nubnubs is hiring, see Evan for fun and profit.'

New hire Myron Weiland of the 'El Nubnubs' was unceremoniously pushed into Devil Dan's by his younger 'new' gang mates, a premature balding young man of 17 Fermin Eyler and a lithe young lady Nieves Neuhaus.
Nieves and Fermin had laughed when Myron showed up and asked for a ride. "We rarely give ride along trips. When we prove ourselves worthy enough mechanics the boss buys a car and sends us north. Occasionally they pass through but I wouldn't hold my breath," smiled Nieves, " BUT this time you are in luck, someone else is looking for delivery drivers, buying a car to be delivered north, and we get 'PAID' to do a trip."

Myron approached the old man drinking whiskey. "Hello there. My name is Myron, I represent the 'El Nubnubs' and rumor has it you are looking for drivers. What sort of wheels do you have?"

Few hours later an extremely lightly titanium armored Stormer is rolled into the El Nubnubs garage. Fermin and Nieves proceed to strip off the Titanium, replace with standard reinforced steel armor (though a lot more) and mount a MG and larger fuel tank.

Myron was excited and nervous as he left, Nieves waved at him rolling out of town being chased by the Southern Cartel. "He was cute, too bad he forgot a rifle and his extra beers. Gonna be a long trip for him" As they were laughing, Myron came speeding through Sarsfield, waving at Lady Kristie's escort gals, peeled dirt by Dirty Dans and left the Cartel stuck at the gates. "Maybe not so much" smirked Fermin,"he may fit RIGHT in"
