Dexter's was settling into its usual lazy routine during the winter. A few old timers sat around, swigging their beers.

Everyone heard the roar of the v8 engine pulling in outside, and the stomp of feet coming to the door. Wait, was that one set of feet, or two?

The door burst open, and a huge bear-clawed mutant stood on the threshold, the year's first dusting of radioactive snow caught in his fur.

"Santa Claws, my friend!" shouted Dexter.

"Grooooowoar! Who's been naughty, and who's been nice this year!?" roared Santa.

"Listen up, I'm putting on two events this year- an arena combat followed by a deathrace. Top prize in each is a fire engine, magically chromed-up by my elves in my workshop in Morgan."

"December 29th, 20:00 and 21:30. With qualifiers earlier that day for the deathrace. Everyone's welcome!"

After hearing the announcement about a couple of town events, the crew of Avenged Sevenfold begin chatting about who they'll send to participate in the events.

"We'd be crazy not to send us!" says Eric Sagar and Michael Ray in perfect unison, an internally iconic duo who are personally responsible for the fame status of multiple vehicles in their Somerset garage.

Anthony Diaz laughs at their suggestion, "No chance, we'll want HEAVY guns for this, all of Evan is going to show up and we-", his argument is interrupted by the gang noticing their leader, in from Badlands, approaching their corner with a smirk.

Elizabeth Neidig marches up and sets a keg of alcohol down for the gang, "Pipe down, losers. Mister Claws," she says with a nod to the bear who's now sitting at the bar chatting with Dexter, "said his events will be 'fair', so it's newbies only! Yvonne's taking point for the combat, Kathryn for the deathrace, and I better not hear a word about it!"

Elizabeth slams a mug down on the table and the gang begins getting rowdy as they tap into the keg and drink the day away.
