Darkwind - Viewing Topic: Another noob startup problem

I've Dl'd the zip file, unzipped, and ran the setup. When I clicked on client, it updated and asked for username and password. When I try to login, it immediately gives me a pop up saying Unable to launch Darwind Client Application, it is likely that darkwindLobby has failed to update the game. It opens a webpage that says to run the setup again and/ or java update, which I have done. No joy. It does give me a small screen saying loading Darkwind Client with a picture of a muscle car (nice art, btw). I am stuck (and a bit of a tard when it comes to the inner workings of computers). Any help would be appreciated... looks to be a promising game.

Are you using Vista? If so, when you run the client, you need to right-click it and "run as administrator", otherwise Vista is blocking any patching which we need to do to get you the latest version.

Did some more diggin throught the forums......
Found someone else with exact same problem in Failure to Launch.... followed that advice and I am up and running. Thanks for the reply, Sam
