*sam* The Salthill Sluggerz Darkwind Guru Renegade Group: Lead Developer Posts: 16,780 Joined: Jan 19, 2006 Nah, the only strong influence was this: Car Wars Boardgame Other than that, it's all my accumulated ideas about what I think should be in an ideal game (online and computerised or otherwise). I started making boardgames when I was about 6 or 7 (in the 1970s) and it continued onto computers when I was a bit older.. with some time playing pen&paper RPGs too of course.. The great thing about computers is the level of detail they can manage. While boardgames need to simplify and streamline, computer games can get really anal about detail and accuracy.
