I get this, even after installing fresh java.
I've read few posts on the forum and I haven't got darkwindLobby.JAR file in Darkwind directory. Only darkwindLobby.exe.

It's downloading some files from the server (exactly 169 files- without error) but after that this sh*t emerges!!

I've tried to install this on two computers and all the same!!!! (on Vista and on XP)

HELP!

With Vista, did you right-click the darkwindLobby.exe program and choose 'run as administrator'? It's most likely that Windows is blocking the patching process.

If you open up the darkwind folder (probably in program files), and then open client_params.txt, what scripts version do you see?

Yes, I open it by right click and chosing "run as admin"

Hmm...

In the darkwind folder, do you see darkwindClient.exe? If so, does it work when you doubleclick it?

No :(

It says that system can not execute this application because configuration is inproper. This problem can solve installing game again.

You should make some FAQ, because it's f*cking annoying to search for everything on the forum- there are problems that have many peoples!!

I think I have all of them!! Problem with dll's, problem with some microsoft files, problem with only music, no grafics, problem with installing...

Step by step quide it's really not very hard to do!
