When in the game, the turn timer is partially hidden by the white (active program) bar at the top of the screen. Is there a simple fix I can do to remove the bar myself so no DW fix is needed?

does the timer need to move left a bit? I was going to do this anyway, since it can currently overlap the edge of the window in some versions of Windows too

That depends on your monitor JD... would say 5 pixels be enough?

Not sure how long 5 pixels is.....

how about this long (.....)

That far left and down should be enough to see the timer clock.

OK I had my screen set to 1074X768.....

This more or less put the game to fullscreen for me hiding some of the clock....
I reverted to 800X600 and can see everything again.

I'll take a screenshot at the higher resolution so you can see.

No need JD, I'm moving it already by 5 pixels in the next patch; that should sort it out

Lol.. here's a way of visualising what I mean.. take a look at that row of dots on an iphone. Now look at it again on a big humongous 24 inch monitor. Does it look different?  :rolleyes:

Too poor for an iPhone......

I registered with imageshack and hope I did this right..

Timer cut off
==============

edit:
Just checked the image and it worked for me..
Plainly shows the timer cut at 1024X768 with the "program active" bar as the culprit.

ALSO notice the "Handbrake" and "Follow cam" words cut off.

Ur.. I thought you were referring to the 'turns elapsed' text, not the actual turn timer. You have presumably always had this issue though? It looks like the Mac in windowed mode sets the top as being actually underneath the title bar.. weird.

at the higher resolution, it shows as 'full-screen' on my monitor without actually setting the game to full screen, which crashes me continually.

When I set to 800X600, the lobby and the client are both shown as a 'window' on my desktop.

You want a screenie of that?
===============
edit:

Here's 1 pics at 800X600 set with the game options from the lobby.

in-game

Shows the game 'windowed' as it should be...

That can happen if your window is bigger than your screen. It's an open question what to do about it... it's not like there's some magical way to fit a big window onto a small screen. :)
