Irving McGehee, Robert Bright, Lincoln True & Tim Pelkey are sitting around the MADHAT table, drawing straws to see who will have to drive the latest acquisition to SomerSet.

Lincoln says, "I've been making these camp runs in that deathtrap Moray - it's someone else's turn."

Tim, the newest recruit, says, "Look, none of us has ANY scouting experience... If that Skid Marks couldn't make it DOWN here on that taxi run we were doing, what's make you think *I* can get us back out."

They vote, 3 to 1, to pool their savings and pay another gang to get the Big Pickup and 2 of their members out of BL and up to SS. "If no one takes us up on it," Robert says, "then we'll have to wait for a scout to come South to drive them up, and the boss ain't gonna be happy about losing all that time and mission income..."
