Billy took his leaders advice. It was an easy jaunt up to Southern Pride. Of those encounters he had, most of the gangs did not bother him, knowing of Longo's reputation. Bily stopped and had a quick drink at the Southern Pride tavern, a makeshift single wide trailer with a leaky roof. Best get back to the truckstop, thought Billy. But Billy was totally unprepared for what was about to happen...

They came out of nowehere. Five of them. Two Flash, a Vamp, a deadly Longshot. There was one more Billy could not see. They had him surrounded. Three of them could be firing on him in seconds. What did he do to put himself in this dilema? Was it the sweet talking of now dead "Wild Bill" Perez down in Firelight? Should he have never signed on to be one of Longo's Men? Wild Bill had told him his life would change, he would be respected in the community. And for the most part, being one of Longo's Men was a sign of respect. Nobody looked for a fight with us, thought Billy. But these guys were different. They were Bounty Hunters. And they didnt care about the wrath of Longo, they were just looking for a quick buck. He had to do something fast.... or he would be dead.
