In my events: S98725, and S98727 i escpaed comabt and both events stated they ended on the server message screen, but never left the current events screen. I tried to log back in but the sytem would not let me regain control of the vehicles? Hopefully all will end well, there ws 11:00 and 13:30 mins left on the countdown timer when i had logged in to check what was going on.

Make sure to hit spacebar one more time after escaping the last vehicle. That is to say: don't exit the event until your vehicles have disappeared. I have seen this happen to me when I was impatient and left too soon. I consider this to be a bug, since you've effectively ended the event, but the server doesn't seem to feel that way until your car is gone.

Annoying bug but it's got a simple fix.
