I run DW at full window and love it that way. My dock still works, I can tab between apps, etc. The only annoyance on the Mac is the pervasive menu bar across the top. It cuts off most of my clock and in-game messages. Since they're in the bar I can't drag them down to fix it.

Is there an easy solution, or am I asking that you move the window down 20 pix or so to compensate?

I'm assuming by 'full window' you mean you have the window dimensions (in the Options page) set to your actual resolution.

I say this because the 'Maximize' button (and 'Close' button for that matter) are disabled and the only one usable is the 'Minimize (to Dock)' button, on my system.

Where is your Dock, and do you have it set to hide?

What Sam probably needs is a check to see if the window's setting is the same as the resolution, and if it is reduce the vertical by the height of the menubar (22 pixels IIRC).

I have DW set to "windowed" so I can still get the Dock. (Set to my resolution)
If I have it set to 'full screen' I cannot see or access the dock.

Still running OSX 3.9

I run in windowed mode as well at full resolution so that I can Cmd-Tab into Safari to run the web page and so forth, or even, dare I say it, perform other tasks between events.

My quick fix for the problem that you and I have is to hit F10 if I need to see what's at the top of the screen, hitting it again when I need to play. Alternately, pressing "P" a couple of times to get a full-sized chat window and then scrolling the text window upward will show everything that you need to see there.

It would be nice if the game recognized the fact that there is a menu bar at the top of the screen, though, since hitting F10 does not allow you to interact with anything in the game.

Bingo, PT, that's precisely the issue. And yes, Marrkos, the 22 pix reduction would do the trick.

I do have the dock hidden and its occasional pop-up when I'm digging around the lower part of the screen is not an issue for me.

I do, actually, do the chat box thing, but had not thought of the F10. Perhaps just allowing reposition of those elements with a draggable handle on the side of them would be a good solution as well.

Anyway, Sam, there you have it. The Mac folks can't see the top 22 pix of the interface. If there's an easy solution we'd all sacrifice a goat to you. Perhaps not one goat each, but collectively it can be arraigned.

Yeah. I remember this being an issue from the earliest days of DW. I don't know if I mentioned it then or, if not, why not. Since the other windows can be moved it would be nice if some of that top stuff could be, too, especially the chat window.

I'll happily contribute a few chickens to the sacrifice. I don't have any goats, though. . . but I'm willing to sacrifice the vehicles, equipment, and gangers of any players with the word "goat" in their handle if that helps.
