I would like to share this moment with you.

Weather is sunny, kids are on holidays for another week.
We have been waiting 3 years for that:

Edit: the BBQ is 2 days old.
I couldn't resist to show the Land Rover 110 sitting in the courtyard/garden too. I need to fix the clutch on it.

Looking good mate! What the landrover (did anyone say landrunner?) really needs is a mounted flamethrower, of course. You wouldn't need that BBQ then..

heheh, nah.
If it was running, I wouldn't need one. On such vehicles, all the heat from the engine is passing in the cabin and your feet are quickly toasted if you're sitting in the front row.  :)
This one is 19 years old.

Edit: oh! and by the way, Sam, never tell a Land Rover enthusiast his vehicle is a Land Runner, which sounds like the Toyota vehicle name.  ;)
We are very very picky about our vehicles, the only true 4x4.

I didn't need to see that.. in the late 80's I had a 1965 IIa 88' Station Wagon. I bought it with 250,000 miles on it; it had been to North Africa, still had its British tags, safari roof, and jerry cans mounted on the front fenders.

Of course, I suffered the curse of Lucas, and the thing was immobile at my parents when I moved out of state.

My dad sold it.

I will never forgive him.

:stare:
I can understand that. I've been looking to sell it; but I'm not sure the kids would forgive me.
...and I'm not sure I would forgive myself.
I'll really have to fix it one day.
