The Pickup is a really adaptable vehicle. Perfect for light trades with plenty of capacity and a reasonable turn of speed. It doesn`t have a rear weapons mount but makes up for this with cargo space. With an exposed 3.2L engine they can just about outrun most encounters around Somerset and Elmsfield. If using it in a scout a 2L is an excellent choice.
As a fighting vehicle it performs well too. Very fast turning, can mount twin HMGs or preferably Rocket Launchers, two crew and extra ammo(HMG can bounce the chassis around). Don`t let anyone get behind you, and try to keep on the outskirts of dogfights, as it can be easily flipped, so make yourself a hard target and keep moving. You can also fit some lighter side mounts like machine guns, gatling guns, rockets or micromissile launchers. Heavy recoil weapons make the chassis unstable if side mounted.
At speed it does become a bit difficult to control so drive with care.
They are very common and a cheap chassis to repair. They make a great support vehicle on both scouts and travels. All new players should have a few of these chassis in their stable, until you can get your hands on some Big Pickups.
They are fun to drive and have plenty of room to bring home your loot.

The best weapons to fit would be machine guns, with a 20 round clip and the best sustained firing bonus there really is no other choice. Depending on your chassis and available space a heavy machine gun will make short work of any opponent.
If a HMG has to much recoil for your ride try fitting a gatling gun or a machine gun or two.
