No personal weapons allowed, though if you want to ram cars with your ganger that is fine.

Swopping cars is allowed, as is punch ups between drivers but remember no weapons other than your own body.

EAA rules will apply so no mind games but there will be no skill cap.

OOC:

The plan is this will be a one off race, but if there are enough gangs entered I will set up qualifying races (probably based on location/time zone to allow more players the chance to enter) with the top finishers going through to the final show down.

Scav gangs are welcome, but I’ll have to check if the prize can be transferred to your gang.

Possible dates – weekend of the 6th/7th September but this isn’t set in stone yet.

.... Hit them, HIT THEM,... "Uncle" called out

The Maelstrom jumped a bit off it's rims as the 40 fired in double time....

"Beefeater" Ginny.. barely had time to wipe the sweat from her eyes before the twisting sound of metal and pain arose from the bloodhound...

Duncan "Idaho" grinned as he saw the driver's head vanish in a cloud of shrapnel.

"Phew.. I think that's it..."

Static abruptly screamed from the radio...

"You got 2 more coming from the crags... Oh God.... it's him"

Duncan took the handset... "Him... Him who?"

Barely before he could finish... even over the churning sound of the v8 in the truck... a hard powerful roar came from the west..... a glint of white and gray steel flying down the rocky cliffside.

As "Uncle" turned the battleworn vehicle about..... Black crosses rapidly came into view

The White Knight had come for it's prey. Alongside of it was an Enforcer...

Ginny had a plan however, The Maelstrom was no ordinary pickup... Pointing sharply at a mesa, Uncle got the idea and slammed down the accelerator.

Dust flying everywhere, the Maelstrom careened about the stony outcropping... and around it...

The White Knight in his haste slammed into one the vehicles from the previous battle, nearly severing the leg of the driver, killing him instantly.

It mattered not, they were just bait and fodder, to him.

His prey should be just around the corner... another trophy to add to the already burgeoning list.

Not stopping, he veered around the rest of twisted and burning wreckage, he and his gunman ready to finish this game..squeezing the trigger slowly in anticipation for the kill, rounded the corner... and found.. nothing

The gunner of the Evan Enforcer was waving and pointing behind them, the scent of fear evident in his gesturing.

His prey was now behind them and firing.

The hunter was now the hunted.

"Get the one on the right" Ginny directed

"On it little lady" Duncan said with a smile.

The flare fromt he salvo of rockets and shells was blinding and terrible in it's beauty to Ginny... The Enforcer got the worst of it as it turned to face the danger...

She then pointed here trusty weapon down the center of the those 2 black crosses as the car turned and faced them down...

The front end of the osprey verily exploded as armor flew in every direction... the guns were a tangled wreck of metal, yet the Knight would not stop.

She leapt from here seat to the outside dirt. She meant to finish this... personally.

She swung her machine rifle from the shoulder and began emptying the clip into the side of the vehicle....

It swung, engine snarling to run her down.

She easily sidestepped, deftly dancing away all the while firing into this "Knight"

As the Maelstrom turned to finish of the survivors in the Enforcer, the clip emptied, grabbed another, and sending it home with a loud clack.

Smoke was now pouring from the exposed sides of this beast, no matter, she meant to cut out it's heart and keep her own "Trophy"

Cursing and swearing.. a man with a cross tatooed from forehead to chin, cheek to cheek was trying to start the nearly dead motor.

She rushed up and placed the barrel to his ear.

"Out!" she ordered.

The man, even in defeat, shot her a look that chilled her blood.

The driver, was not moving, arm torn to shreds by heavy small arms fire.

The man, got out slowly, dropping his crossbow to the ground.

Ginny did not pull the trigger... after a thought, smiled.

"Go... now" Pointing her barrel towards the open road.

The Tatooed man walked about 50 paces then turned, and nodded. The grim look, sent ice down her spine.

She knew that this was not the end, but this time she got her hard earned trophy....

She could not wait to show it off...

The Phoenix Dodge`em

This is the first review of the latest offering from the First Bank of Somerset – The Dodge`em.

Based on the Phoenix chassis it offers all the handling of that class of cars with rapid changes of direction possible, so that makes the mounted rams at the front much more effective.

Combined with the 4L engine block, the car has a fair turn of speed off from the line, and is able to reach ramming speed rapidly enough to please all the adrenaline junkies out there.

Inside there is a bucket seat featuring all the latest safety belts and roll cage to let you carry on bumping and bashing.

We spoke to Isidro Wiggs from the Malodorous Wayzgoose, who had been carrying out some test drives of the Dodge`em.

First question Isidro, I understand that you took the Dodge`em out for a run on the Rally Circuit – how did you find it?

“Well, do 4 red drivers who didn’t finish answer your question? I started in the middle of the pack and by the time that we had entered the first narrow part of the track, I’d already seen some injuries and cars flying across the tracks.” Smiles Isidro.

“I got my first proper hit in just before the first hairpin corner, a nice T-bone ram on the car in front of me. After that it was mostly easy as I hit the front. The only worry was when someone caught me on the cross over. All I can say was I was glad it was a glancing blow and not a proper hit or I would of being seeing a lot than stars I can tell you.”

We also saw you leaving the Double Down Arena in Dodge`em, does this mean that you tested in a combat set-up.

“Well a few boys together and we all had a free for all bash in the Double Down to see how it went. The main thing I’ve learnt from that is the car holds together better than I thought. I took some hits and gave some hits – the roll-cage really stops the worst of the impacts getting to you and the engine. You can just keep going!”

“I meant it wasn’t though we were getting up to high speeds but with the twin ram plates you don’t need too much speed before you’ll hitting hard.”

So in conclusion The Dodge`em adds a much need ram car to the inventory, that is quick enough and tough enough to last the toughest Death Races that Evan can throw at it.
