This terrain is treacherous to cars with Reinforced Tires....... You cannot get up to speed before the baddies get to you and WHEN they do you will not be able to run away as fast as you got into the trouble you are in! Try offroad tires when negotiating this map.  Image by Lord Foul MOST of the terrain here is slippery sand dunes in which you can lose your adversaries if you can drive right. Use the dunes to your advantage and watch your speed. If you top them too fast... you can turtle your ride and lay on your back helpless like ....... well a TURTLE! The dunes will also give you a tactical advantage by allowing you to to stop on the ridge of a dune and shoot your pirate adversaries in the rooftop armor as they cross over the ridge in front of or behind you depending on your weapon loadout.  With the major leagues coming towards their conclusion, the current leaders are: Evan Race Ladder - Lattes Raiders For some time, mutated insects and other creatures have harrassed anyone unlucky enough to be out on foot in the wastes. They have always been too timid to face off against vehicles. But recently, reports have been coming in of particularly large monsters attacking cars too. Early indications seem to suggest that these attacks happen at times of high Aurora or during the winter when the creatures are ravenous.  The image above shows a van-sized mutated wolf-like creature encountered recently close to Badlands Truckstop. It reportedly took 3 blasts from a car cannon to stop this beast. |
