This `road` is more like a packed sand animal trail winding around the low spots of the high, steep-sided dunes. High speed chases are NOT the norm on this map! Once you get up to speed, you have to slow down again in order to stay ON the road. If you do get some decent speed going, the `flight-inducing` bumps in the road will get you some nice airtime..... Only to have your car nosedive into the upslope of the next almost invisible bump in the road. In this reporters` opinion/experience, going offroad will increase your chance of survival tenfold! Pick your route carefully and run the ridges of the dunes. Pirates will try to follow you but with a little luck and a well chosen route can make the Pirates slide into the many sand pits in the area or struggle trying to follow you up the steeply banked sides of most of the dunes here.
