This week I had an 'accidental' PvP encounter that we truced out of. But my bounty offer came up first: about $6500. Which seems incredibly cheap. If the other guy had been pursuing PvP, I think it probably should have been more painful for me to slip away despite having the flag on. Though I don't spend money on much besides repairs (so even on a slow week my money grows), so maybe my perspective is a little skewed.
This was out of Firelight (at the gates, I think), and we both had a single car - mine was Windsor 2 with 2 MG, I think his was Apache with just a little more weaponry. Does it have to do with our gear or crew, or something like local or global reputation? |

Good question. |

Big Daddy, the bounty amount it asked me to force a truce with you was about $11,000. I clicked "truce" knowing you'd do the same.
I think it has to do with the squad's valuation. That's my theory. Mine was a 4L Apache with 2 rear MMG and 1 forward MG probably worth 80% more than your 2 MG Windy2. |

Here's what I presume to be the three factors:
1. number of cars/CR of cars 2. global fame of the squad members 3. money value of the cars (but based on which town?) |

When I couldn't make a pvp league match I had to pay over 1.3 million. |

i thought it was based on your net worth as a gang |

The bounty calc is based on CR and your own fame (the more famous you are, the higher your bounty). |

If i remeber correctly the bounty was introduced as a mechanism for people who wanted to avoid PVP to be able to do so.
With the pvp flag, doesnt this make the bounty obsolete ? Surely the 2 protagonists can work it out between themselves. i dont think the attacker should be forced to accept after all thats what the flag is for isnt it. |

I'm pretty sure it's based on local fame rather than global (don't have the code with me here) - so the amount you'll have to pay can vary quite a bit. |
