Shouldn't there be a reward for going up against vets with heavy lasers with LaserFire 2 and Sniper 2 that can hit at 200m ????

There is no requirement that says that you must give or sell loot back, that's up to you. God knows if I looted something exciting I would either get it or something of equal/greater value out of the win.
Joel Autobaun Posted May 3, 2011, 3:02 am	YEs of course - thats why Lasers are overpowered and rare so people are too scared to use them. You almost are compelled to keep them, to keep them scary to use in PvP for both sides.

For the record those laser gunners had no sniper specs, but one did have laserfire 3 not 2. And yes, unless you give your word to return loot earlier in the event you're perfectly within bounds to keep what you win.

Put it another way--if you caught someone breaking into your house, you wouldn't hand them back the crowbar they used to bust your lock, would you?

Longo kept my first renowned apache for a while before ransoming it back after I asked him... perfectly fair to ask for stuff back but not to expect it.

They're also too easy to avoid but just running a large number of 1 car unarmed travels right before you send out your actual combat squads.
