Come on now... No one's watching the Stanley Cup?!

The Montreal Canadiens (8th this season) knocked out the Washington Capitals (1st this season) last night!

This is an upset because an 8th place team has never managed to win a playoff series against a 1st place team when coming back from a 3-games-to-1 deficit. It's a best of 7, which means the vastly favored Caps lost the last three games to the Canadien underdogs. The Caps had scored a league record 318 goals during the regular season but managed to score only 3 in the last two games. The Caps also had the best powerplay stats during the regular season but scored only 1 goal over 33 powerplay opportunities! The Canadien's goalie (Jaroslav Halak) is largely credited for this: he saved 92 of the Caps' 95 shots on goal in the final two games.

So in Washington, "Halak" has replaced the word "stop" B)

I'm a fan of NO PRO sport team, since players could pick and choose where to go(where their blonde wives tell them to play), Gary Betfag screwed Canada and Frankly when everyone got excited about pro players playing in Amateur tournaments.

In short, Pro sports sucks.

I thought that sport died out due to lack of interest, and rightly so, following that whole strike thing?

Oh well, I guess there needs to be something for you arctic type people besides ice skating if you're ever going to work up enough testosterone to breed.
