Pulling out of BL

4saken The 4saken Darkwind Guru Renegade Group: Members Posts: 2,282 Joined: Jan 1, 2008 The 4saken has suffered a horrible loss in the Badlands today. We will not be able to continue the fight there after such a setback, not for many months. There are no less than seven drinks awaiting empty seats at the The Gráinne Uaile. Tracey 'Macho' McGuire, officially the second in command of the 4saken. One of our only decent scouts, 6 specs, not including leadership. Macho's car slipped off the ridge into enemy territory. He was flanked by a mutant merc and a Glad, but as he was laying fire into a a Sir Rocket the enemy car flipped and landed with its weapons facing back towards him. Then his newbie driver freaked out and it was all over. Tracy lay in a pool of his own blood for the rest of the fight and managed to crawl out and find other survivors and try to make it back on foot. He died when he slipped on a cliff and slid down into the enemy [again]. The others with him ran out of ammo and tried valiantly to kick the giant rats, but to no avail. All were lost. Despite his nick Tracey was never a braggard. He picked it up back when he was a newb and would get teased over his 'girly' name. 'Macho' just kind of stuck. Justin Vaughn, rapid-reload sniper. Justin was in the lead vehicle for our gang in the squad, an Apache. It suffered a horrible fate. Justin bailed on foot and fought them for about 30 turns, scoring blue text many times, until a car rifle round caught him square in the head. Stephen Cochran, sniper. He died in the Apache. Nothing survives 4 rocket hits a turn, every turn. Matthew 'Lefty' Sisco, driver. Our one-armed driver had seen alot in his long tenure in the 4saken. This scout was his last. Anthony Cook, recruit. Was driving Tracey's car. Anthony King, a new recruit with lots of potential. Anthony was driving Pokey, our BL Flash lure vehicle. A dangerous job to be sure and one that he volounteered for. Brandon Petri, ballistics. Brandon, or 'Brando' as some of the guys called him, was well on his way to his first spec. He was the paint gunner for Pokey. It takes alot of sand to drive around in a car with 6 points of armor, and Brandon was no stranger to getting out and fighting on foot when the ammo ran out. The 4saken owe the capture of their only Buzzer to his unflinching bravery and determination. He will be missed, as will all the others. So raise your mugs, all who hear these words.
