I've been sacrificing bulls for the last month asking the dark gods for this after using an hour or so to refit/repair 10-15 vehicles and get rid of loot cars.

Thanks for a fantastic addition Sam. Now...

(it never ends)

An excellent point. Maybe disable auto-features at camp. Or give the camp owner the ability to enable or disable automatically sucking up camp resources.

Yes, that would be HI-larious, if the restoring was automatic when a vehicle entered a town or camp.  But, since the player has to push the 'Restore to Saved Configuration' button in order to do all the repairing and reloading, we will have to find our amusement elsewhere.

No, it's (optionally) automated when you arrive in fact - that's what the 'auto fix' option is.

I could remove it for camps?

I'm thinking for camps the "auto" should be off - but still have the option to do it with the button.

I personally don't plan to use the AUTO because I don't want to wait a long time for engine and/or weapon repair in that event. I keep spares for those bad days. :)

Hmm, one would think this was... what was the word... Self-evident? :p

Witty banter @ Marrkos aside, I'd prefer if the camp owner could enable or disable auto-fix for his camp, thus still allowing the feature for the camps who know they can afford the load.

Yeah, I'll make it into a camp-owner option.

Not quite sure how long this feature took you to implement, Sam, but I'm guessing it could well become one of the absolutely most successful ones, in terms of work versus popularity ratio (damn near regardless of how many months you spent at it ;) ).

The micromanaging bastard son in me might be crying out for all the lost clicks, but all other parts of me are overjoyed.

Also shows that website improvements are more popular than I, at least, would have guessed.

Yeah, I figured it would be popular, which it was worth the effort. A few hours, but not particularly fun ones

The reason this is popular is of course partially because the web interface is quite unfriendly for doing tasks like fixing/reloading vehicles.

The whole website is being overhauled soon BTW... design mockups in progress from BW Gunner..

Well, that's the part I skimmed over, and therefore didn't fully understand (and its relationship to the other options), in my gleeful reading of the original post.  :p

It gets so lonely sometimes, being the only guy gleefully overlooking the obvious. It is good we've all found a place to gather together ;)

This, I wasn't expecting. Great news! I am very fond of the current design, but sometimes, I wonder if nostalgia is more to blame for that sentiment ;) Regardless of which, improvements to webpage functionality should yield a direct profit in terms of gameplay ease. Looking forward to the design!

Oh, by the way, small suggestion for the new configuration feature: Could you perhaps add a "Restore" button directly to the vehicle page, removing the need to go into the Auto-configuration panel to fix a car? (Click economy is king, and I'm guessing the restore function is the one we will be making use of most frequently.)

Perhaps even restructure the whole feature, into three buttons: "Save", "Restore" and "Other options", ensuring we have access to the most important functions directly, instead of one click away.

This is the only reason I've been refraining from bugging him on my current vehicle skin commission.

I told him I didn't care about his real job, family, etc, but when I heard he was helping with this I backed off.
